Building Materials - Logs
I had to double check to make sure I hadn’t blogged on this topic yet and was surprised to see that I had not! Logs are an amazing building material. No they are not recycled and eco friendly in that manner, but they very clean and require very little else to build with. The same log that is on the outside of your structure will be on the inside. No insulation required because they have amazing insulating qualities! You will need to somehow treat the logs and seal in between each log, but there are eco options for these tasks available. Log homes are very durable, solid, warm, and beautiful! Look into options that you have for having one built. You can of course do-it-yourself too. Log cabins can be great for a full size home or a one bedroom abode!
