Energy Efficient Heating and Cooling
There are so many options for heating and cooling your house, consider all of the options on the market before you simply choose the first the comes your way. The initial start up costs may show something completely different than what the long-term efficiency will prove. In a previous post, we discussed different types of solar heating and cooling. Some complimentary ways in which to heat your house or facility are the following:
(1) Floor Heating. Floor heating can be a very effective and comfortable source of heat for your house. While in-floor heating is typically built into the basement or bottom floor of a building, many people are now choosing to install this type of heating on multiple levels.
(2) Stove Heat. While not typically found anymore, old wood cooking stoves are an amazing heat source that provides multi-uses.
Make sure you investigate all of the financial feasibility, as some of the costs can be deceiving.
