Rebuilt or upgrade?
Is it worth tearing down a perfectly good, functioning building in order to rebuild a more energy efficiency replacement an proper environmentally aware decision? I recently heard that in order to curve some of the major budget crisis issues in the high school I attended they are considering this as an option. There comes a point where rebuilding a new building from scratch does not move forward, even with efforts to make a more efficient building. The existing building is still in really great shape. Unless they plan to reuse materials from the existing building, then there will be tremendous output and resources required in order to fabricate an entirely new structure.
